New Patients:  New patients are welcome at the Practice.  Please arrive slightly before your appointment time, to complete our "new patient information" form.

Home Visits:  Home visits are subject to prior arrangement with your treating doctor.

Repeat Prescriptions and New Referrals: Because your health and medical needs may change over time, a consultation will generally be required to obtain a repeat prescription or specialist referral.

Test Results (Blood tests, X-rays, etc.): Although the practice will endeavour to contact patients regarding serious or dangerous test results, it is the Patient's own responsibility to follow-up their test results.  As per Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia recommendations and independent legal advice, test results cannot be discussed by phone, and a consultation is required, unless prior arrangements are made with the doctor who ordered the tests.

Telephone Policy:
As phone calls are highly disruptive, doctors generally cannot take calls when in consultation.  Exceptions to this include matters of clinical urgency, and professional calls from other doctors.   If a doctor is in consultation, it may be possible for patients to wait on hold, or request a call back.  Unfortunately, doctors cannot guarantee that they will be able to return calls quickly.

Reminder System: The Practice is committed to preventative care.  You may be issued with a reminder notice from time to time, offering you preventative health care services.  If you do not want to participate in this system, please notify our Receptionists.
